Dear Paul,

Seems delicious! I'm waiting for the primo piatto, then! Let me know how things are going in your blended course. Is it a writing course? How often do you meet? How are students reacting to it? Is Ning working for you?

I've been teaching online a group of Brazilian students, and it's been very rewarding so far.

Keep me posted. Would love to know what you're up to.

Dear Carla,

It is a pleasure to hear from you again. I wish that the name WinK were of my own coining. It is a shingle I share with two, going on I'm not sure how many other local educators.

As you are probably aware, the page on which I intended to continue with the feast started this spring during B4E has been quite static since I served up a revised overview of WinK there in February. I'm in small kitchen (only three keyboards within reach), and have pushed the LTD Project Blog to the back of the stove to get this year's blended courses (blogs, wikis, and even a ning) served up promptly for new classes that started a couple of weeks ago.

Within not to[o] many more weeks, I hope to have gotten past the antipasta, and into the prima piatto. However, you shouldn't hold your breath!

Dear Paul,

How did I miss this appetizer?! What an effective plan incorporating many great tools to promote learning. I loved the name WinK. By the way, I'm just starting with Diigo and feel it's a great possibility for connections. It's much more than just social bookmarking. Maybe you could try it with the team of educators and keep delicious for students as it is much simpler to manage. I've just joined this group: http://groups.diigo.com/groups/educators.

Please, keep me posted on how things go. Thanks for your kind words to the Blogging Team. To hear that means that it was worthwhile the long period we spent preparing for the session!

On a new page, WinK Overview (listed in the header), there is now an evolving outline, derived from the FreeMind mind-map from which the already obsolete image in this post originated. I'll keep updates on the new page.
